Biography:

My life has been dedicated to diverse forms of service, leadership, and community support across several challenging fields. I consider it a profound, God-given calling to walk alongside others, whether it’s been in a pastoral role, on the front lines of public safety, or through international missions. I am passionate about guiding people through life’s complexities, helping them find their strength, and stepping into a deeper sense of purpose.

My commitment to service is anchored by a career spanning pastoral ministry and law enforcement. I have served as a Senior Pastor for Southern Baptist churches in both Texas and California, and my academic journey includes graduating from two seminaries and two Christian universities. I believe deeply in the transformational power of faith and wisdom gained through scholarship and practical application.

The discipline required for high-stakes environments was honed during my service as a Police Officer for the City of Arcadia, CA, and as a Deputy Sheriff with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Today, I continue to serve my community as a Sheriff Chaplain and Reserve Deputy Sheriff, bringing compassion, stability, and experienced guidance to those in crisis.

My experiences are global, having served as a Biblical Archaeologist in Israel and as a missionary to both Mexicali, Mexico and Medias, Romania (where I am an Honorary Pastor of Danes Baptist Church). This breadth of experience allows me to approach every interaction with a unique understanding of different cultures, histories, and personal struggles.

Outside of my professional life, I maintain a brown belt in Kung Fu San Soo, am a Distinguished Expert Marksman, and enjoy sharing my passions with my family. I have been happily married for 35 years and am a grateful father and grandfather, with a wonderful grandson and a granddaughter on the way. I believe that a life of service is best grounded in a disciplined spirit and a loving home.
